Mint Condition I
/
The fact that spring is here in Texas is bittersweet for me, not gunna lie. First because I know it only lasts for a week or two here then gone for another year, and secondly because it's about to be 110 degrees here for the next few months that seem to go on forever! Not trying to be negative, but I really tend to savor the winters here because it's such a nice break for me. With that said, I am really looking forward to the sunshine and learning to make myself go outside and play more often. So here's to that!
To welcome the spring, I'm doing a little style series on the color that I've been loving so much this year. MINT. I just think it's the perfect color for someone who loves to be reminded of the beach but doesn't tend to wear a ton of color - like me. :)
above:
shirt: sheer "Not So Classic" volcom blouse (purchased from fast forward) - $45
pants: BCBGeneration - about $50
shoes: 10 yr. old skull vans - $50
beanie: obey - around $20
ring: from world market - around $12
This outfit is a little edgy and a little mod, professional and playful. Colored jeans are kindof hard to style without looking cheesy, but I felt like pairing them with black and white was a great way to balance out the flash!
